Smart Eye Technology Launches the World’s Only Screen Privacy and Document Security Platform

In today’s work-from-anywhere culture millions of files including invoices, Intellectual Property and financial information are shared everyday through non-secure channels such as mobile devices making it more important to protect against all forms of cybercrime. Through multilevel biometric verification and continuous facial recognition, the Smart Eye platform prevents document leaks, fraud and forgery as well as visual hacking.

“Nobody should have to worry about someone looking over their shoulder or unauthorized users gaining access to sensitive documents such as photos, invoices and contracts – it’s none of their business,” said Dexter Caffey, Founder of Smart Eye Technology. “Smart Eye has created a new sector in cybersecurity technology to ensure that screens and documents are protected at all times, finally giving businesses and individuals the peace of mind they deserve.”

Digital gardens let you cultivate your own little bit of the internet

Beneath the umbrella term, however, digital gardens don’t follow rules. They’re not blogs, short for “weblogs,” a term that suggests a time-stamped record of thought. They’re not a social-media platform—connections are made, but often it’s through linking to other digital gardens, or gathering in forums like Reddit and Telegram to nerd out over code.

Tom Critchlow, a consultant who has been cultivating his digital garden for years, spells out the main difference between old-school blogging and digital gardening. “With blogging, you’re talking to a large audience,” he says. “With digital gardening, you’re talking to yourself. You focus on what you want to cultivate over time.”

What they have in common is that they can be edited at any time to reflect evolution and change. The idea is similar to editing a Wikipedia entry, though digital gardens are not meant to be the ultimate word on a topic. As a slower,

Piracy has plagued software developers since the launch of the first software products decades ago.

And piracy has continued to increase as enterprises expand their use of the cloud. Illegal software usage — software used without proper licensing, aka piracy — ranges from deliberate piracy involving making, using and selling illegal copies or cracking or circumventing license technology, to knowingly buying cheaper illegal copies online, to unknowingly over deploying or sharing licenses within a company.

Unregulated digital media can spark hate, terror: Govt to SC

© Provided by Hindustan Times

Digital media is completely unregulated and capable of spreading hate and instigating violence and terror, the central government told the Supreme Court on Monday, adding that if the top court was undertaking an exercise to regulate media, it should start with internet-based news outlets and not mainstream electronic media, which is governed by some checks and balances.

A web-based news portal or YouTube channel can be launched by anyone without any requirement of registration or clearance by the government, and does not face any geographical barriers, factors which the Centre said could harm the “fabric of the nation”.

“Any individual can start his own web-based channel by way of a YouTube channel and the only thing he needs is a desire to start and a smart phone which can be accessed by anyone. There is absolutely no check on the web-based digital media. Apart from

Computer hack complicates e-learning at Valparaiso schools | Education

Berta said the district currently is seeking outside technological assistance to halt the attacks and prevent further complications.

He said numerous parents with information technology experience, whose children attend Valparaiso schools, also have volunteered to help.

“The primary job right now is trying to put up a defense system so this outside hacking cannot occur,” Berta said.

He said the school district also has been in touch with the Valparaiso Police Department, and will be getting touch with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, to help catch the hackers and seek criminal charges against them.

More importantly, however, is getting the system back up and running so parents can be assured remote students are once again learning alongside their in-classroom peers, Berta said.

“We’ve had parents asking, ‘What’s going on? Why is it that my child is sitting at the computer and all of a sudden there’s nothing there,'” Berta said.

Choosing to boot or reboot an aging computer

Q: I have a Windows 10 computer that has become increasingly unreliable as it has aged over its three-year life. I’ll be using Outlook, Excel or Chrome and the computer stops responding until I reboot. Often, multiple reboots are necessary before it settles down. I tried deleting all non-Microsoft or Google apps, but to no avail. Do I need to buy a new computer, or is there an alternative?

A: There’s a common misconception about computers in that computer owners think that their PC is slowing down or misbehaving because the hardware is wearing out.

It’s not surprising, as we all know that this is true for things like our car or for household appliances that have a dominant mechanical component with many moving parts that can and do wear out and need replacing.

Amcor develops world-first recyclable retort flexible packaging

The product, which uses Amcor’s AmLite HeatFlex Recyclable solution, has the potential to be used in a variety of retort applications where products with a long shelf-life require high-barrier, high-heat resistant packaging.

“The technology to solve the problem of retort recyclability simply did not exist,” Amcor’s chief commercial officer Peter Konieczny said.

“Amcor’s innovation represents a breakthrough for brand owners looking to reach their sustainability ambitions. Brands will be able to stand out and meet consumers’ growing demand for more sustainable products by replacing older formats with the latest in cutting-edge packaging technology.”

Amcor said creating a recyclable version was considered a challenge because it added another requirement to packaging already satisfying very high functional needs: withstanding heat-sterilization, blocking oxygen and bacteria, keeping food safe without refrigeration and ensuring a long shelf life.

Flexible retort packaging, a modern alternative to metal cans, can improve the carbon footprint of
